The Funding Network was created in 2002 by a group of four individuals, with the goal of creating a forum where people could join together to learn about social change, the work of small-scale non-profits, and help fund as a group.
Our founders will have 6 minutes to make our case in front of a room full of funders and people willing to crowdfund amazing life-changing projects! You can get tickets and more information about the event here.
DATE: 26th September, 6pm
VENUE: Rathbone Greenbank Investments 8 Finsbury Circus EC2M 7AZ London United Kingdom
A TFN event typically begins with informal networking where guests and non-profits can get to know each other over light refreshments. Once everyone is sitting comfortably, four presenters make a six-minute pitch about the social change project they are seeking funding for and take questions from the audience. Pitches and Q&As are strictly timed, giving everyone the same opportunity to make their case.
After the pitches comes a fun live crowdfunding session, where people have the opportunity to give money or offer pro-bono support to the non-profits that move them. Live crowdfunding makes giving easy: anyone can put their hand up!
We’re pleased to announce the inspiring non-profits who will be pitching at our very special #AutumnFunder at Rathbone Greenbank on 26th September – meet Black Cultural Archives @bcaheritage El Club Des Espendru, @PressPadUK & @lightyear_fdn – https://t.co/MlWwmNzXv3 #TFNLondon pic.twitter.com/s3Zevk3evc— The Funding Network (@FundingNetwork) August 14, 2019
